Our client required an assessment of the opportunity for developing a niche demand segment accommodation property in a relatively remote, but iconic, location in regional Tasmania. The scope of work included to identify an ideal concept configuration to meet multiple market positioning opportunities.
We identified the market opportunity for the development of a niche demand segment accommodation property, provided a benchmark analysis on the performance and trading of comparable resort-style properties to estimate occupancy and average room rate, and financial projections for the proposed concept.
Moreover, we took the lead in workshops with architects and landscape service providers to address design requirements for the proposed resort concept.
